During normal treatment, a high volume of Droplets and Aerosols are produced by high-speed handpieces and ultrasonic scalers. This puts patients and practitioners at a high risk of spreading dangerous pathogens.
AFTER USE
The EOS Extraoral Dental Suction System removes the Droplets and Aerosols from the air, highly reducing the risk of spreading pathogens! This is just one of the many new safety measures we have implemented to keep you safe in these times of crisis.
Meet the Dentist
Dr. Laura E. Godwin
DDS, PA
Dr. Laura Godwin was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC. In 2007, she received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at NC State University where she was Valedictorian of her class. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 where she finished top 5% in her class. And make no mistake about it, she is a Tarheel at heart.
Dr. Godwin has always had a desire to be a “hometown” dentist – to be the person you’re talking about when you say “I’ve been going to her for as long as I can remember.” She is dedicated to optimizing your oral health, while making you feel comfortable and at home here. She won’t stop until you’re satisfied!
She also loves to give back to the community, volunteering at Missions of Mercy clinics here in North Carolina, and even spent 6 weeks in Ghana, Africa helping with dental aid. Dr. Godwin loves fitness, trying new restaurants, and going to as many concerts as she can!
